How to find the good nights in a new city

By Ela Tribe

A full dance floor at a Tribe night

Every city has a version of itself that only shows up after dark. Here is how we find it.

Ask the people who work nights

Bartenders, DJs, the person running the late food stall. They know where everyone goes after their shift, and that is usually where you want to be.

Follow the local DJs, not the venues

Venues change; the people behind the decks travel with their crowd. Find two or three local DJs and see where they are playing this week.

Eat where the queue is

The best food in most cities is not in the guidebook. A queue of locals at eleven at night is the only review you need.

Go early, stay late

The first hour is when you meet people. The last hour is when you become friends.

Go with the Tribe

That is what we are here for. Join the Tribe and we will tell you when we land in your city.
